For local New York and Newark residents Island Dragway is one of the closest drag racing strips in the area. Located in Great Meadows, New Jersey Island Dragway has a history of record quarter mile times (i.e. Venom Racing Civic, Flaco Racing, etc.). By September the track will be prepped to IDRC nationals event standards and will be the second to last East Coast event.
