The final stop in
the Auto Trader Magazines IDRC Championship Drag Racing Series is
Palmdale, California. The 2002 BFGoodrich Tires IDRC International Finals
Presented By ICEMAN Intakes will combine world-class import drag racing
with the gigantic Movement One People’s Choice Car Show, the SR-1 Team
Drag Challenge, and a massive interactive manufacturer’s midway.
Confirmed racers
include Adam Saruwatari, Abel Ibarra, Jojo Callos, Team PFI, Venom Racing,
Escort 300ZX, HKS Supra, Ari Yallon, John Shepherd, Accufab Cougar, Manny
Cruz, Veilside R32 GT-R, Joel Tanzman, Erick Aguilar, and IDRC Starter
Girl Verena Mei.
The entire 2002
IDRC Starter Girl Team will be present to sign autographs and pose for
pictures. This is their last 2002 appearance so be sure to stop by the
IDRC booth and meet the girls personally.

Will Be The 2002 IDRC Champions
Over $200,000 in
cash payouts will be determined at this event, and the Western
Championship is still in hot contention. Don't miss Adam Saruwatari and
Grant Downing compete for the Pro Class Championship Ring. Also, check out
the exciting conclusion of the Honda vs. VW battle between Erick Aguilar
and Shawn Geers in the All-Motor Class.
Last year's Street
Class Championship was taken home by John Shepherd, followed closely by
Ari Yallon. Come see if Shepherd can defend his title as he enters the
last race with only a three point lead over Yallon.
