The Main Event:
The 2001 IDRC championship season has produced the most exciting stories in all of Motorsports. Now it all comes down to this. It’s one final race, one final chance for the leaders to make their move to win the championship. Matt Hartford has wrapped up the Toyo Tires Pro Class, but 10 different drivers have a chance for the runner-up payout. In the APC Street Class, John Shepherd has locked the victory over Ari Yallon, yet both of these racers are still coming to the finals to put on a show. Why? Cause it’s "By the Racers, for the Racers" and it doesn’t get any better than this. The Nitto Tires Quick Class, Apex Integration Outlaw Class and the Falken Tires All-Motor Class have yet to be decided.

Nitto Tires Quick Class---$36,000 Up for Grabs In This Championship
Gardella, Rau, Glazar and Crawford will duke it out in the Nitto Tires Turbo Magazine Quick Class. Only one will walk away champion. And the competition they face could be the stiffest of the year with Lisa Kubo’s new Nitto Tires Coupe bringing some serious horsepower to the party.

Apex Integration Outlaw Class---$32,500 On the Line In This Championship
In the Apex Integration Outlaw Class, Stephan Papadakis comes off a stellar world-record-setting performance at the IDRC Long Horn Nationals, running 8.12 at 180mph. The rotaries of Pepe Loco and Carlos Gonzalez will stop at nothing to try to and shut down the Honda and win the championship. Come out and support your favorites.

Importdrag.com All-Motor Class---$10,000 Available in This Championship
All-motor gets you going? Falken Tire will sponsor this final conflict as Scott Kelley, Scott Mohler and Fred Ellis compete against Troy Smith, Bisi Ezerioha, Cottores Ghee and So-Cal’s top All-Motor stars. With so many competitive vehicles there’s no telling who’ll take home this championship.

Records Are Ready To Be Broken
It also happens to be the best time of year to break existing records. Temperatures have cooled and the IDRC is world-renown as the leader in record-setting track preparation. The new track preparation techniques used at the Long Horn Nationals allowed every racer from the Pro Class to the brackets to set personal bests as Papadakis, Hartford and Shepherd set new world records.

Now is your time to come on out and join the action. A special discounted tech card gets you and your car in for just $60 when you order on-line. That’s just $25 more than purchasing general admission at the gate over the weekend. If you just want to watch, save $10 by buying your 2-day pass online for just $25. Tickets are available at the gate until the event reaches capacity.

Quick Class: Will it be Rau, Glazar, Crawford or Gardella that wins the championship. Can the champions of NIRA (Lisa Kubo) and NHRA (Jojo Callos) compete against the stars of the IDRC? Big money and bragging rights are on the line. Who will be the undisputed Quick Class champion of the World?

Outlaw Class: Can Stephan Papadakis claim another import racing championship in 2001? Pepe Loco and the Carlos Gonzalez have other plans. Will these guys push Steph into the 7s or will they be able to just push Steph too far?

All-Motor Madness: Scott Mohler and Fred Ellis of Maryland are coming to the original birthplace of All-Motor performance. Will this East Coast invasion shut down the West Coast legends? Or will Scott Kelley and the West Coast racers keep the East Coast racers in the back of the pack?

Pro Class: Adam Saruwatari will attempt to break into the 7s with his IDRC competition debut. In its IDRC debut, the Escort Racing 300ZX will attempt to better the import elapsed time record set by Siguel. The Toyo Tires RX-7 and R-100 of Abel Ibarra and Efren Vazquez will be hard to beat.

No racer will hold back with this last chance to set 2001 IDRC records
