NEW INFO - Gates open at 2pm Saturday/8am on Sunday---It’s a race, it’s a show, it’s a party like no other. Join us for the East Coast Nationals as the IDRC kicks off its first 2002 East Coast event. The race will feature the current championship points leaders Ron Lummus, Saverio Leone and Erick Aguilar as they look to set new world records at the quickest track in the country. Jorge Lazcano (Contreras Auto) and Siguel Racing are also planning to attend to lay down the law in the Pro Class. Last year’s Quick Class runner-up Mike Crawford and Outlaw Class runner-up Carlos Montano (Pepe Loco) are also expected to make their 2002 IDRC returns with hopes of finishing first in 2002. In car show competition, the expanded Meguiar’s Movement One car show will feature three additional classes (Domestic Sport Compact, Exotic, and Honda/Acura has been split into two classes) with an expected draw of 150 to 200 of the top show cars.
