IDRC Sets New West Coast Attendance Record
Record Crowd, Record Times, Record Excitement

Firing on all cylinders, the IDRC and its racers have kicked off the 2002 season with a performance combination that will continue to have its competition chasing fading taillights. "Overwhelming" described the presale response to the first event as "Historic" described the turnout and excitement level of the event.

In addition to record setting times "By the Racers, For the Racers," the SR-1 Team Drag Challenge was an overwhelming success as eight of Southern California¹s top racing crews went head to head for $1000 and the ultimate bragging rights. Adding some show to the go, the West-Coast debut of the Meguiar¹s Movement One Showcase featured over 135 of the best looking imports and sport compacts in the country.

The action continues as the IDRC tour goes to Firebird International Raceway in Phoenix, Arizona on March 16th and 17th for the IDRC BFGOODRICH Tires Firebird Nationals. Pre-sale indicators have this event tracking to set a record for the region. Local TV, radio and national magazines, please contact the IDRC offices today for press credentials.
